How We Set Ourselves Apart in CNC Assemblies

Quality CNC parts are challenging to find, but not with Amerascrew. The average corporate company in the CNC industry (or any industry) is after one thing and one thing only -- money --, and that's where they get it wrong. To run a quality business, you must establish great founding principles and values that guide the company and its structure. However, that's not the case with most businesses in our industry; this is where outsourcing plays an unfortunate role. Businesses that favor cheap labor over quality labor will typically look for work overseas to cut costs. Although this may be cost-effective in the short term, this can create many problems. For the consumer, this creates a lack of trust because once this happens, the quality of the product often decreases, and the price of the product stays the same. Luckily, Amerascrew is different. Amerascrew values quality, made in the USA parts that will last as long as needed. We don't cut corners, just metal. We wo...

If you've ever peeked at the list of industries we provide our services to, you might be surprised by what you find; Photography, Dental, Entertainment? How can a screw shop assist businesses that fall in these categories? In short, almost every industry requires equipment to run efficiently and provide services to its customers. Photographers need working cameras, tripods, and other tools. Dentists need X-Ray machines, cutters, scalers, and teeth-cleaning devices. Entertainers need projectors, video recorders, audio equipment, and more. All of this equipment is made up of smaller pieces and parts that work together and allow our jobs to run smoothly. Every day, we depend on these components to do their job so we can do ours. If any of these pieces fail or go missing, we're at a loss and may not be able to continue working. So, where do we come in? We're glad you asked. We create the...

The Difference Between Conventional Milling and Climb Milling

Do You Choose Traditional or Preferred? Milling machines are used across the U.S. and have made w machinist's life substantially earlier. You can use a milling machine to produce flat or irregular surfaces. You can also drill, bore, cut, and produce slots with your standard spindle machine with a swiveling head. The two most common rotation types when it comes to milling your materials are table fed climb and table fed conventional. It's broken down fairly simply as in conventional milling fees up and climb milling feeds downward. The major difference between the two is the rotation of the cutter direction.  Conventional milling is for lack of better terms, the "old-school" way of doing things. It takes a much more traditional approach when cutting because the play between the lead screw and the nut is eliminated.  Climb milling is becoming increasingly more popular with a new generation due to its preferred methods of compensating for the backlash eliminator.  Co...

Is CNC Machining a Better Solution than Manual Machining?

Is CNC machining really superior to manual production? What do you associate with the word "automated?" Poor quality? Inauthentic? Inhumane? Because of its connotations, some frown upon automatic processes, such as an automatic machining process called Computer Numerical Control. For those who protest automatic systems, manual machining is thought of as a more personalized, and therefore more quality process. We're here to address that myth-- CNC machining is superior to manual machining for a number of reasons:  CNC machining is versatile CNC technology can create a variety of complex shapes and complicated designs that manual production simply cannot compete with. This special g-coded technology allows us to use fewer machines to cut through dense material at any angle. This efficient and precise method gives us options that are nearly limitless.  CNC machining speeds up product delivery rates  Because the software within the computers is able to execute multiple action...

Choose An American Manufacturer!

Internal Assemblies Matter. It is no surprise when we tell you that most everything you own or manufacture is made overseas in today's world. Often, these foreign goods are created in deplorable conditions and not properly made to fit the customer's exact needs. However, when you choose to work with Amerascrew, you are not only helping to support those hardworking Americans, but you are choosing quality products made right here in the United States. Because most things get sent overseas to be manufactured, the consumer can easily tell the quality of the product is not exactly what they had hoped for. When you choose to have an American company produce the pieces, parts, and things you need, you can definitely see the increased quality.  Big companies and other businesses often make the argument that when you manufacture goods in other countries, it is cheaper. This has been proven to actually be false; we have begun to see a change in cost-effectiveness as it has been shown t...
